Getting the group together and working on the script

Once we knew we would be working on Carol's idea, we decided that the first best thing to do is to all familiarize ourselves with the work that Carol has already done in order to completely grasp the story and the way we want it to be visualized. I looked at the animatic and the initial script and we all decided that we should all take notes on it and make any ideas or suggestions that would help develop the story.
Once we all talked about it and reviewed our notes, we came up with the final script which I then took and started working on the different types of camera shots that would help present the story best. Whilst doing so I also looked at various different movie references that had a similar style such as "The Breadwinner" and "The Old Man and the Sea" in order to gain a better idea of how we should present the story more successfully.
